Digital Media Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping lead consumer and marketing research to produce digital media plans that drive brand strategies and innovation through paid efforts across display, search and social.

The Digital Media Specialist opportunity represents a unique chance to perform research, analysis, share insights, and study the effects firsthand. This position will work closely with other digital media specialists, as well as account teams, to develop paid media solutions across all forms of digital. This includes research, planning, execution/plan implementation, tracking and analyzing efforts, and performing campaign optimizations.

The right candidate will move the agency forward by providing effective and efficient media buying, innovative solutions, performance insights and recommendations to improve campaign delivery and achieve client goals.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Digital Media Specialist will design, detail and report on paid display, search and social media solutions from conception to completion
  • Includes work across several digital campaigns and multiple verticals
  • Manage media buying responsibilities including vendor relations, negotiate and place contracts, resolve billing issues, order make-goods, and coordinate materials
  • Manage campaign trafficking responsibilities including creative QA, ad server tag development, pixeling/tagging for campaigns
  • Manage and monitor media schedules for both in-house efforts and with outside media partners
  • Ongoing monitoring of campaign performance across all responsible efforts to ensure campaigns run smoothly, on schedule and delivering the best performance possible
  • Conduct audits of paid efforts to determine efficiencies and recommend optimizations based on findings
  • Work with other digital media team members to develop strategic approach and tactical executions that align with client goals and larger media efforts
  • Collaborate with other consumer engagement team members to identify unique opportunities to stay at the forefront of the digital advertising space
  • Review, provide input, and take action on campaign results and analytics, demonstrate the effectiveness of media optimization, and articulate insights based on analytic data
  • Coordinate and manage internal documentation to ensure campaign accuracy and alignment in reporting
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, media vendor meetings, and team strategy sessions
    Work with account teams to answer digital media activation questions
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field (preferably at an agency or in marketing)
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in managing paid media campaigns
  • Must be a strategic thinker with strong problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Adaptable in a constantly changing environment, organized and able to handle pressure well
    Google AdWords and Google Analytics certification will be considered, but not required
  • Knowledge and experience using social platforms for paid social efforts (Facebook is a must, other platform knowledge will be considered but not required)
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, but also be able to work independently to accomplish tasks
Required experience:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Account Manager - Richmond, VA

We are looking for an Account Manager to serve as the primary contact between client and agency, along with the assistant account executive as applicable.   • Serve as primary reporting and project support expert for web and digital data, analysis and tools via testing, presentations and dashboards/scoreboards.

  • Strategic thinking and consultative skills, a sense of urgency and curiosity, and the courage and confidence to debate.
  • Good balance of quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, with aptitude for applying them to campaign optimization along with problem identification and resolution.
  • Advanced proficiency in web analytics solutions, tools, and databases, such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and Facebook Business.
  • Experience with integrated/cross-channel reporting and attribution.
  • Strong understanding of attribution modeling concepts and familiarity with the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
  • Aptitude for transforming raw internal or client data into formats that facilitate analytic processing.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with call tracking software, PPC analytics and website optimization preferred.
  • Solid proficiency with Tableau products and services, specifically Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.
